      JOSHUA RUBIN, ASSOCIATE

      Joshua Rubin is an associate with the law firm, concentrating in the area of personal injury litigation. Mr. Rubin is a native Buffalo resident and graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where his focus was in litigation and alternative dispute resolution; he was also the Senior Editor of the Environmental Law Journal. In 2001, he worked for the Maryland Attorney General's Office mediating disputes between consumers and business, and obtained his mediator certification for the State of Maryland in May 2002 before returning to Western New York post-graduation.

      Mr. Rubin attended college at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he was a political science major and double-minor in English and fiction writing. He was on the Dean's List from 1995-1999 and was awarded the distinction of Scholar Athlete from 1995-1999. Mr. Rubin played intercollegiate NCAA Division baseball during his four years of college for a top 20 NCAA ranked Division III team, saw his way to the College World Series in 1996, 1997, and 1999, was selected to the North Coast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team and College Baseball's "Team America" in 1997, and was designated as a Division III "Pitcher to Watch" in 1999. He joins the firm after his tenure as a plaintiff's attorney with experience in litigating Labor Law and negligence cases and appeals, and is excited to join the firm to bring his past experience to bear.
